To apply, prepare a short teaching introduction and a CV, then send both to us in one WhatsApp message with your subjects stated clearly. The sections below set out the steps in order.
The three steps
- Prepare. Write a short introduction and a one or two page CV. The CV guide shows what to include.
- Choose your subjects. Check the subject list and pick the ones you teach confidently.
- Send. Message us on WhatsApp with the introduction in the message and the CV attached as a PDF.
Check the online teaching readiness page before sending, so you know your connection and setup are in order.
A first message you can adapt
Fill in the brackets with your own details:
Hello, my name is [name]. I teach [subject] for Form [4 and 5] and have [number] years of teaching experience in [school or tuition centre or private lessons]. I am also comfortable with [second subject]. My CV is attached. I prefer to teach in [language].
The message has five facts, and each one helps us read your introduction quickly.
What makes a message easy to read
- Subjects and forms appear in the first two lines.
- Years of experience are a number, not a word such as “long”.
- The CV is one PDF with a clear file name, for example Name-Subject-CV.pdf.
- Identity numbers, home address and bank details are left out.
The applicant privacy notes explain why, and what you can ask us to correct or remove.
After you send
We read introductions and reply on WhatsApp if we wish to take the conversation further. If you need to update your subjects or correct a detail, reply in the same conversation.
