Online one-to-one SPM Pendidikan Moral tuition

Your child can list the values, but explaining a scenario in full sentences is where marks slip.

Find your child's Moral Education teacher9,000+ students helped through our service

Our online one-to-one SPM Pendidikan Moral tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons built around the scenario answers that student writes. The first class is a one-hour trial from RM50.

Who this tuition helps

Three situations bring students to this subject.

  • Lists instead of reasons. The student writes “honesty, respect, responsibility” and stops.
  • Values that blur. Two values feel similar, so the student picks one without knowing why.
  • Quiet students. The student knows what they would do but finds it hard to put it into written sentences.

Reading each answer with the student shows which of the three is the cause within a few scenarios.

What a lesson looks like: from list to explanation

Here is an original scenario and the conversation around it.

A student finds RM50 in the school corridor and sees no one nearby. What should the student do, and which values apply?

The student writes: “honesty, responsibility, integrity”. The teacher asks three questions: what does the student do, which value does that action show, and what follows from it.

Step Student’s answer
Action Hand the money to the class teacher or the school office
Value Honesty, because the money belongs to someone else
Consequence The owner can get it back, and the student is trusted

The student then turns the table into a paragraph. The teacher checks that each value matches the action, because a value named without a matching action earns little.

Next, the student tries a second scenario alone and the teacher reviews it line by line. After a few rounds, the student carries the action, value and consequence pattern into new scenarios.

What one-to-one lessons can and cannot do

Lessons can clarify values, practise scenario answers and give feedback on written explanations. They work best when the student brings the answers that lost marks.

Assessments run by the school stay at school. The teacher works from the curriculum and does not judge the student’s family or beliefs.

Common questions

My child knows the values but writes thin answers. Can tuition help?

Yes. The teacher practises the step from naming a value to saying what a person should do and why. Students build this one scenario at a time until it is a habit.

Is this tuition just memorising values?

Memorising is part of it, since the vocabulary matters. The larger part is explaining a scenario with action, value and reason, which a list cannot show.

How much does it cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial from RM50, and the rate depends on the teacher. The fee is agreed before the trial, and you book only if you are happy with it. Lessons are usually about 1.5 hours a class.

Which language are lessons taught in?

Lessons are in English or Bahasa Melayu, depending on the subject, and the teacher explains clearly in whichever suits the student. Tell us your preference when you enquire. Exam answers stay in the language the student writes the paper in.

What stays with the school?

Any assessment the school runs, and anything that needs a teacher in the room, stays at school. Online lessons cover understanding, recall and written explanation.

If your answers name the right values but stop before the reasoning, a teacher can read each answer with you and show where the explanation should start. Tell us the form and the kind of question. Parents usually arrange the trial.
