Moral scenario response planner

You can name the moral value in a scenario but your answer stops before any action.

This planner helps you turn a moral scenario into an answer outline. You choose a value, then add a reason, an action, a consequence and an alternative view.

Everything you enter stays on this device.

It is for students who know the value words but stop at the label. The tool asks for what is missing so the answer reaches an action.

How do I use it?

  1. Pick one of the three original scenarios, or choose the option to write your own.
  2. Choose the moral value you will apply from the list.
  3. Fill in the reason, the action, the consequence and the alternative view in your own words.
  4. Press Build outline to see your outline, the development prompts and the relevance checklist.
  5. Edit the boxes and build again until each line stays on the scenario.

How does the tool work?

The rules are fixed and visible. If the scenario or value is missing, the tool asks for it and stops. For each empty box it adds one prompt, such as asking what the person does, to whom and when.

The checklist has five lines. The first needs only some text in the reason or action box. The reason needs at least 12 characters, and the action, the consequence and the alternative each need at least 8. A tick means the box has enough text to read, nothing more.

Nothing is sent anywhere. The tool cannot tell whether your moral reasoning is good, so it never scores you.

What does a worked example look like?

Take the scenario where Amir finds a wallet with RM150 and a school card. A weak answer says only “Honesty”.

A fuller outline reads: value is honesty; reason is that the money belongs to someone who is probably looking for it; action is that Amir hands the wallet to the class teacher today; consequence is that the owner regains the lost money and Amir’s friends see that honest choices are possible. The alternative is keeping the money, which would leave the owner without it.

What can the tool not do?

It does not know your syllabus wording, your teacher’s marking scheme or the current exam format. It cannot say that your answer would earn full marks, and it makes no judgement about you as a person.

Use it to organise your thinking, then compare the result with your textbook and teacher.

Where does this fit in Pendidikan Moral?

Start from the Pendidikan Moral overview, or go to Form 4 or Form 5 for the topics by year. For this exact skill, read applying a moral value to a concrete exam scenario.

Two related lessons cover connecting values with concrete actions and explaining rational reasons in a scenario. If two values feel alike, see distinguishing closely related moral values.

For a teacher to go through your own answers, see Pendidikan Moral tuition. The one-hour trial class (from RM50) is a real taught lesson.

Common questions

Does the tool mark my answer?

No. It only arranges what you type into an outline and asks for any part that is empty. It does not score, grade or judge your answer, and it is not an official marking scheme.

What happens if I name a value but write no action?

The tool shows a development prompt asking what the person does, to whom and when. It says nothing about your character. A missing action is just a part of the answer still waiting to be written.

Can I use my own scenario?

Yes. Choose the option to write your own scenario, paste two to four sentences from past practice or your textbook, and fill in the same boxes. Your text stays on your device.

Is there one correct value for each scenario?

Several values can fit one scenario. What matters is that the value you choose is tied to the people in the scenario through a reason and a concrete action.

If your answers name values but never apply them, a one-to-one Pendidikan Moral lesson can work through your own answers and show where the reasoning should go further.
