Our online one-to-one SPM Usul al-Din tuition gives you an experienced teacher who helps you explain concepts precisely and support a written response with reviewed evidence. The first class is a one-hour trial class (from RM50).
Who this tuition helps
Usul al-Din needs exact definitions. Students lose marks in familiar ways.
- Loose definitions. The idea is right, but the expected wording is missing.
- Near neighbours. Two concepts share a root idea, so the answer describes both as one.
- Answers without support. A correct claim stands alone with no evidence to earn the next mark.
A teacher hearing your explanation aloud can catch the imprecise word the moment you say it.
What a lesson looks like: separating two forms of tawhid
This is an original teaching example. Your textbook’s exact definitions apply in the exam.
Question style: “Explain the difference between tawhid rububiyyah and tawhid uluhiyyah.”
The teacher asks the student to finish two sentences without looking at notes.
- Rububiyyah is about who Allah is: the only Creator, Sustainer and Lord.
- Uluhiyyah is about who is worshipped: Allah alone deserves worship.
Then the teacher asks a test question: can a person accept the first and still miss the second? The student explains that recognising Allah as Creator is one step, while directing all worship to Allah alone is a further one. The contrast is now in the student’s own words.
The written response follows an order: definition of each, the one-line contrast, one example or supporting evidence from the textbook. The teacher checks that the contrast sentence is there, because an answer to “explain the difference” without it loses the mark.
The method is to define, contrast, then support. Try it with defining a curriculum concept with a reviewed example and structuring a supported written explanation.
What online lessons can and cannot do
Lessons suit concept definition, comparison, answer structure, evidence selection and exam timing. The teacher can listen to you explain and correct wording on the spot.
Personal rulings, religious guidance and school-arranged religious activities stay with qualified authorities and your school. Teachers follow the curriculum, and no teacher can promise a grade.
Will the teacher change what I was taught at school?
No. The teacher works from your textbook and syllabus. If your school teacher explains a term a certain way, the lesson uses that wording so your exam answers match.
How starting works
Message us on WhatsApp with your form and the concepts you find hardest to write about. We assign an experienced teacher and agree the fee with you before the one-hour trial class (from RM50). After the trial you decide whether the teacher is a good fit, and you can ask for another teacher if not.
The trial lesson agenda builder helps you list your concepts. How our online tuition works explains what follows.
