Online one-to-one SPM Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik dan Elektronik tuition

Your child follows the circuit when it is explained, but their own calculation drifts off course.

Our online one-to-one SPM Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik dan Elektronik tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons on circuit concepts and calculations using the student’s own working. The first class is a one-hour trial class (from RM50), with the fee agreed before it starts.

Who does this tuition help?

Circuit questions combine a diagram, a formula and a written reason, and marks are lost in each part.

  • Calculation slips. The method is sound, but a value is taken from the wrong part of the circuit.
  • Units and assumptions. The answer has the right number and the wrong unit, or ignores a stated assumption.
  • Roles of components. A part is named, but its job in the circuit is not explained.

A student who tends to be rushed at exam time may gain most from a habit of checking each result against the rest of the circuit.

What does a lesson look like?

Here is an original series-circuit example.

A 12 V supply is connected across two resistors in series, 4 Ω and 2 Ω. Find the current and the voltage across each resistor.

The teacher asks what is shared in a series circuit. The current is the same everywhere, and the resistances add: 4 + 2 = 6 Ω. Then I = V ÷ R = 12 ÷ 6 = 2 A.

Resistor Resistance Voltage (V = IR)
First 4 Ω 2 × 4 = 8 V
Second 2 Ω 2 × 2 = 4 V

Check: 8 + 4 = 12 V, which matches the supply. The common mistake is to use 12 V across each resistor, and the check catches it, because the two voltages would add to 24 V. The student learns to treat the check as part of the answer.

What can online lessons do, and what stays at school?

Online lessons cover reading diagrams, calculations with units, explaining component roles and feedback on written answers. The teacher watches your working as you solve.

Workshop practice, building circuits and assessed practical tasks stay at school, and live mains work is never taught online. The teacher does not complete assessed work for you and cannot promise a grade.

How does starting work?

Say your form and whether circuit calculations, component identification or electronics theory worries you most. Add the language you want the teacher to use.

The trial lesson agenda builder helps you prepare. See how our online tuition works for the general steps.

Common questions

Can the teacher help with real electronics projects?

Lessons explain concepts and calculations using diagrams. Building circuits and any assessed practical work happen at school, and live mains electricity is never part of an online lesson.

What if my Mathematics is weak?

The calculations use simple algebra and units. The teacher can repair those basics alongside the circuit idea so neither holds the other back.

Do I need a circuit kit?

No. A pen, paper, a calculator and your school's diagrams are enough.

How much does tuition cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50). The fee is agreed with you before the trial at the teacher's hourly rate, and lessons are usually about 1.5 hours, with the schedule agreed with your teacher.

If circuit questions lose marks on the calculation or on the reason, lessons practise both with you working aloud. Tell us the circuit topic where you get stuck. Parents usually arrange the trial.
