Our online one-to-one SPM Bahasa Arab tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons that connect grammar, vocabulary and reading in context. The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50).

Who does Bahasa Arab tuition help?

Students seek help with Arabic for three reasons.

  • Rules without use. The student knows agreement rules in a list but misses them in a sentence.
  • Vocabulary that does not stick. Words are memorised for a test and gone a week later, because they were never met in a sentence.
  • Reading slowly. A short passage takes so long that the question is forgotten.

A teacher in a one-to-one lesson listens to the student read and sees which of these slows them down.

What does a lesson look like: phrase or sentence?

Here is a worked example of agreement and meaning working together. Compare two pairs.

Arabic Meaning What it is
البيتُ الكبيرُ the big house a phrase
البيتُ كبيرٌ the house is big a sentence

Both use the same two words. In the phrase, the adjective agrees with the noun in definiteness, so both carry “al”. In the sentence, the second word has no “al”, which tells the reader it states something about the house.

A student who drops the “al” from the phrase has accidentally changed the meaning. The teacher shows how one small agreement decision changes the whole line.

The teacher then gives the student new nouns and adjectives, and asks them to write first the phrase and then the sentence. Meaning is how the student checks their own grammar.

Will the lessons address the exam route and my starting point?

Yes. The first step is to ask what you are studying, what your school expects and where you get stuck. The trial lesson tests that on real sentences.

If your reading is slow, lessons start with short passages. If your writing has agreement errors, lessons use marked sentences from your own work.

What can and cannot online lessons do?

Lessons can teach grammar in context, build vocabulary through reading and give feedback on writing and speaking. They work best when the student brings recent work.

Assessments run by your school, and the format of the exam, stay with the school and the examination authority. Confirm current details at the Lembaga Peperiksaan website.

Common questions

Will lessons fit my actual exam route and starting point?

Yes. Tell us your form, what your school teaches and what feels hard when you enquire. The teacher starts from what you can already read and write, and plans lessons around the route you are taking.

I am a beginner at Arabic script. Is tuition suitable?

Yes. The teacher starts from the level you are at, including letters, vowel marks and simple sentences, then builds toward the reading and writing your course needs. The pace follows the student.

How much does tuition cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50), and the fee is agreed before it starts. Lessons are usually about 1.5 hours, and you and the teacher agree the schedule.

Can the teacher help with speaking and listening?

Online lessons suit speaking and listening practice, because the teacher and student talk directly. Assessments run by your school stay at school, and the teacher can prepare you for them in lessons.

If you know the rule but miss it inside a sentence, bring three sentences you marked wrong. A one-to-one lesson can work on the agreement in context. Parents usually arrange the trial.
