Personal exam calendar and countdown

You have a full paper timetable and want to see how many days each paper leaves you.

This tool turns the paper dates you enter into a simple countdown and an optional calendar file. It helps any candidate who wants to see, in one list, how many days remain before each paper.

Everything you enter stays on this device.

How do I use it?

  1. Type the paper or subject name, for example “Sejarah (History) Paper 1”.
  2. Choose the date from your official exam slip or school notice.
  3. Press Add paper. Repeat for each paper.
  4. Read the countdown beside each paper. The next paper is shown at the top.
  5. Press the calendar file button if you want the dates in your phone calendar.

How does it work?

The tool compares each date you entered with today’s date in Malaysia time (Asia/Kuala Lumpur). The difference is counted in whole calendar days, so a paper tomorrow shows one day even late at night.

For fourteen days or more, it also shows the gap in weeks and days. A paper dated today shows Today. A paper dated earlier shows Completed, never a negative number.

The list is saved in your browser only. The calendar file contains one all-day event for each paper in your list and nothing else.

A worked example

You add “Bahasa Melayu Paper 1” on a date 10 days from today, and “Mathematics Paper 2” on a date 25 days from today.

The list shows Bahasa Melayu first with 10 days to go. Mathematics shows 25 days to go, about 3 weeks and 4 days.

When the first date passes, that paper changes to Completed and Mathematics becomes the next paper.

What are the limits?

The tool does not know the official timetable, so it cannot tell you whether a date is correct. Every date is your own entry. It does not plan your revision or predict results, and it cannot remind you. To get reminders, import the calendar file into a calendar app.

How does it connect to the lessons?

Use it with the personal study calendar guide and check the dates as described in where to verify SPM examination information. If a paper is close, read what to do in the final week before a paper.

To turn the days left into a plan, try the realistic revision planner. If you want a teacher to work through the gaps with you, see the one-hour trial class (from RM50).

Common questions

Are the dates in this tool official?

No. The tool shows only the dates you type in. Copy them from your official exam slip, school notice or the Lembaga Peperiksaan website, and confirm them again before you plan around them.

Where are my dates stored?

In your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server and there is no account. Clearing your browser data, or pressing Clear all, removes them.

What happens after a paper date has passed?

The paper is marked Completed instead of showing a negative number of days. It stays in the list until you remove it.

Can I put the dates in my phone calendar?

Yes. Press the calendar file button to download an .ics file containing only the papers in your list. Open it with your phone or computer calendar app.

Once you can see how many days each paper leaves you, a teacher in a one-to-one lesson can help you decide what to revise first in the time that remains.

  • Online one-to-one lessons for your child with an experienced teacher.
  • Your first class is a one-hour trial, from RM50. The fee is agreed before you book.
  • Happy with the teacher? Continue with lessons of about 1.5 hours. If not, ask for another teacher.
